In August of 2002, Summit Optical was formed to provide its members with optical lab services and the advantage of distributorship or buying group pricing on contact lenses, frames, sunwear, equipment and ophthalmic lenses.  Today we are over 100 members strong with partners throughout the USA.

Our mission is to improve optometric business operations and increase market share for private practice optometry.  Summit Optical provides its members with an optical business that removes the “middle man” thereby lowering costs for members.
